Austin kind of opend up to jared and told him things no one else knew
his dad is a pushy person who wonts his son to be in the olypics. It shows that Austin had to be competitive so he would win.

2) His dad wants him to go to the olympics, it makes him feel down because he might not be good enough so he puts other people down and one of those people is jared.

2. Austin's dad wants him to be in the olympics. so the reason austin runs so well is because his dad pushes him to. it does affect how he treats jared because he isn't meaning to be the first best, he just trys really hard to make is dad proud.

1. Jared feels really bad about what happens and Austin says he's scared about his dad because he can't run.
2. Austin says thats the only thing he's really good at and his dad wants him to go to the olmpics and he just is really mean to Jared because he's scared of his dad.
3. I would probbally just try to walk away and try to forget about but I would proubbally be really upset in my head.

2)Austin's dad is very hard on him becasue he expects alot from him. this affects their friendship becasue Austin is very competitive.
3)I think the reason people do stuss like that is because they have something else happening in their life. I will be very nice and just kind of shrug it off.

1) When Austin and Jared are in the nurses office, Austin tels Jared a secret that no one else knows and Austin apoligezes for making Jared feel embarased/humiliated.
2) We learned that Austin's dad is very pushy on him, and expects a lot from him. His dad expects him to go to the Olympics, but now that Austin hurt his foot, he may not be able to compete in the race. This affects how he treats Jared because, Austin is probably afraid of Jared being better at running that him someday, and so he feels that he has to humiliate/embarress Jared so that he won't beat him in the race.
3) I will stick up for what is right, by walking away or put myslef in their postion because maybe I don't their full story.
